Use every piece of the puzzle

“Look at each day as a chance to invest life into life, a chance to share your experience and deposit it into someone else’s conscience. Each day is a chance to work miracles in the lives of others.” Jim Rohn

Maybe that’s our problem.

I think some of us have stopped investing.

I don’t mean money; I mean affection and attention. I mean care and concern, compassion and consideration, time and tenderness to the everyday folks we pass on the street.

It is easy to love the lovable. What have you done lately to love the unloved or the unseen?

It is so very easy to overlook people who feel unworthy of being seen.

But, just as I believe every thing on this planet is somehow involved in God’s plan for our survival, so, too, do I believe that each and every person we come in contact with, even for a brief moment, has a part to play in the overall design of our lives.

puzzle with missing piece

There are no spare parts; no throwaway pieces.

Each person is one numbered piece of the puzzle, and we can’t finish the puzzle until we bring in all those pieces scattered around the edges of our lives. There is a reason you meet the people you do. Nourish those people, then see how much more your life is blessed because you knew them.

“We can’t move ahead if we’re trying to get even.” — Frank Tyger
